At the same time, fewer seams can also bring more continuous façade effect. Therefore, in the curved surface large area use, GRC and other materials have exceeded the metal plate, become more favored by the architects of the external wall surface decoration materials.
3. how to apply
Among the five materials mentioned above, GRC, GRG, GFRP, TCP, UHPC, TCP is special.

GRC and UHPC are commonly used in building facade decoration. Although they can also be used for indoor space decoration, UHPC will have a higher cost compared to GFRP and GRG, while the degree of gloss of GRC is not as high as GRG, and GRC will be much heavier compared to GRG materials. Therefore, the application of GRC and UHPC in interior design is limited. Comparison of the two, UHPC will be more expensive than GRC, and is mostly used in the shape of a large aspect ratio or more hollow places.
GFRP and GRG are commonly used in interior decoration, and FRP's base material, resin, softens at high temperatures, which leads to a decrease in FRP's mechanical properties. The poor fire performance is one of the main reasons to limit the application of FRP in the exterior wall, although GRG is strong, but its essence is still gypsum, the chemical composition is mainly CaSO4-2H2O, slightly soluble in water; although the fire rating of A1, but its water resistance is poor, high water absorption, poor impermeability and anti-freezing, so it is not suitable for outdoor use.
